“Can Saitama beat Shiba Inu?” — I get this question a lot

Saitama Inu ($SAITAMA) is a fairly new crypto asset (an ERC-20 token) that has caused a lot of hype, especially over the period of last month, when it had an amazing bullrun. Saitama made crypto enthusiasts go completely wild over it.

“Just another meme coin” one might think. However, in this article, I will explain 8 reason why I’m bullish over Saitama. I even think that in the long run, Saitama can actually beat Shiba Inu — pricewise.

Saitama Inu vs Shiba Inu

Just FYI — I love Shib — I own bunch of Shiba Inu tokens, and I am not fudding here. If you don’t own any Shib, you should, the price is great and will sonner or later go on another bullrun.

Anyway, after you’re finished reading this article, perhaps you will change the way you look at Saitama token.

PS: Another (newer) token that has I’m excited about is Lillian Finance ($LY). Medical blockchain / Healthcare crypto.

I will also give newcomers some useful tips and provide answers to questions that new crypto investors may have. Buying and selling $Saitama can be a bit complicated and confusing for a newcomer. Let me show you that it’s quite simple, and that anyone can add Saitama Inu to their portfolio.

I initially invested in Saitama in late July 2021. In August, nothing very special happened with the price. But September was a wild ride — Saitama has spiked 800% in the last 30 days.

I invested again in mid-September, but had to invest like 6x my initial investment to double my amount of tokens — frustrating to think that I could invest more in July. But I played it safe and I’m ok with that, since so many scam tokens are out there these days. I am no whale by any means, but I believe that what I’m holding can in fact make me hundreds of thousands (perhaps even a million) USD one day, if the project and the devs continue with their awesome work.

Why am I bullish about Saitama Inu?

We all saw what happened with Shib — so many people got rich when Shiba Inu went viral. VB helped with that hype, even though we wish now he didn’t send all that money to India Covid relief fund, who are still dumping everytime that the Shib price goes up.

But the fact is, that the luckiest Shib’s were those people who managed to get in early, and then did something amazing — they simply did nothing! They just held their tokens and didn’t worry about market ups ad downs. Most traders will look at chart 20 times a day, and get frustrated when they see bears. This is not the way.

Now let’s compare Saitama Inu to Shiba Inu (24th September 2021 data) and see the Saitama’s 8 bullish signs.

  • #1 Age: Saitama is 3 months old, while Shib is 13 months old.
  • #2 Holders: Saitama has 45.000 holders and Shiba has 666.000 holders.
  • #3 Diluted MC: Saitama is at 680M ($688,204,469), compared to Shib’s 7B ($7,040,440,019).
  • #4 Burn mechanism: Saitama is deflationary, meaning that its supply is being burned with each transaction (according to etherscan.com 55.23% of available tokens have been burned so far), while Shib has manual burns integrated with ShibaSwap.
  • #5 Reflections: Saitama rewards holders by automatically redistributing 2% of each transaction between holders. Shiba lacks such automatic feature, but holders can Stake their Shib on ShibaSwap to earn passive income.
  • #6 Daily volume: Saitama is trading with $8M daily volume, while Shiba’s 24h trading volume is $378M.
  • #7 Major CEX listings: Saitama is not yet listed on any major crypto exchange. Shiba is listed almost everywhere by now, trading on Binance, Coinbase and other CEX.
  • #8 Utility: Saitama devs have a lot of work to do. On 13th of November we’ve been promised an introduction of SaitaMask smart wallet (the event is happening in Las Vegas). SaitaMarket (an actual marketplace where you can buy goods and services with $Saitama) and SaitaMaker (an NFT launchpad platform) are yet to be announced. So far the devs delivered and kept to their promises. While Shiba has Shibarium ahead of them (their own blockchain), which among other things, will also greatly reduce gas fees.

SaitaMask, SaitaMarket and SaitaMaker will make $SAITAMA a utility token.

Basically, what we see from this comparison is that $SAITAMA is still very early, and is merely a toddler. Shiba already made it through the early phases, and is slowly maturing. Saitama seems to be oriented towards hodlers. I say this because hodlers are the ones receiving the automatic 2% reflection rewards, and will be able to enjoy the long-term effect of continuous supply burnings. Honestly, I believe the price of Saitama has a potential to go 100x, and even 1000x, depending on the success of the project and the community hype.

I hodl both $SHIB and $SAITAMA, and wish success to both … but my thoughts are, that while Shiba Inu can do a 10x and break that zero we’ve all been wanting to lose, Saitama can kill 2, 3, or even 4 zeros if it will follow the success of Shib.

Your 1K investment, could be 1M in a year.

What happens if Saitama one day actually does reach the value of Shib? — Let’s say you invest 1.000 USD today (0,36 ETH). This would get you 150.784.077.201 Saitama tokens at the current price; Saitama current value = $0.000000006632 — Yes, that is 9 zeros you see there!

Now let’s assume, that in a year, Saitama could be near Shib value. Shiba worth is at this moment $0.00000686 (that is 6 zeros).

Meaning that if this scenario happens, your 1k USD investment would be worth over a million USD. To be precise, your $1.000 investment today, would be worth exactly $1.034.378!

But the thing is, most people will sell for minimum profits… like 5x-10x. Yes guys, 10x in crypto is nothing much. Those people are often referred to as “paper hands”.

Another type of people are panic sellers. Remember, every time that some crypto goes up in value, the time will come when it will also go down. The journey is never steady, it’s a bumpy road of ups and downs. But many people see a downtrend and sell, losing most of their investment. Smart investors invest in such times. When everything is looking bad, smart guys put in some more money. And they wait.

To get rich with $Saitama Inu, I think you should do the same. Put in as much as you can afford to lose, and wait. When it drops a little put in some more. Always have some ETH available in your crypto wallet, so when the time comes, you are able to invest.

I’ll get back to you on January 2023, and let’s see where SAITAMA will stand by then ;) I will greet you with: “Hello my Saita-millionaire friend!”

Answering common questions about SAITAMA Inu (FAQ)

Question: “How to buy Saitama Inu?”

Buying Saitama Inu tokens is not that hard once you understand how these new tokens work. In short, you need to deposit FIAT currency to Binance. Then you need to purchase ETH with your FIAT (e.g. Swap EUR to ETH). Next step is to withdraw ETH from Binance, to your crypto wallet — I recommend TrustWallet, but you can also use MetaMask. Make sure you select ERC-20 when withdrawing ETH to TrustWallet. Once you have ETH balance in TW/MM, simply add Saitama. To make sure you are not selecting a fake coin, it’s best to copy/paste $SAITAMA contract, which is 0x8b3192f5eebd8579568a2ed41e6feb402f93f73f. Because some scam tokens may use similar names to Saitama, but they are not the actual Saitama. While the contract address is unique for every token out there. Next step: go to dApps (within TrustWallet) and select Uniswap. There you can select pairs (ETH/SAITAMA). Enter the amount of ETH you’d like to swap for SAIATAMA. Before buying, check your slippage percentage. For buying Saitama, set slippage around 4% and not less, or transaction may fail. Failed transaction will not cost you the investment, but you will be charged gas fees (lose some money). When you have successfully made the transaction, go back to TrustWallet or MetaMask, and your Saitama Tokens should be there. Look at the image above for a simple explanation of this concept. It may look complicated, but believe me, once you master this, the complete process will take you less than 5 mins.

Question: “Where can I buy Saitama Inu?”

Saitama Inu is ERC-20 token. Meaning that it’s built on Ethereum blockchain. All tokens that are built on ETH blockchain are initially launched and available on Uniswap. You can access Uniswap via dApps on Trust Wallet or Meta Mask. The other standard that you need to be familiar with is BEP-20 (Binance Smart Chain). Before buying any token at all, you first need to check with blockchain is being used — is it built on BEP-20 or is built on ERC-20. In the case of Saitama Inu token, the $SAITAMA is an ERC-20. You can simply check these information on Etherscan.com (if it’s an ERC-20) or on bscscan.com (if the token is BEP-20).

On the picture we highlight two things to pay attention to. 1) It’s Etherscan. 2) The contract address. This shows you that Saitama is an ERC-20. While most coins have these information also published somewhere on their website or whitepaper, social media, etc.

Question: “How many Saitama Inu are there?”

Initially, the total supply of Saitama Tokens was 100 Quadrillion (which is a lot). The higher the supply, the cheaper the price of one token is. But as we mentioned in earlier sections of this article, Saitama has this very important deflationary feature integrated — 2% burn on every transaction. Currently 55,23% is burned, leaving us with 44,7B token supply. With each transaction there are fewer tokens available, which by itself will increase the price of Saitama in the long-run.
